Final day in the outback and yes- another dawn start. Go to Kings Canyon for our final walk - several options but we go for the 6k 3 hour job. The sun is behind cloud today so it's more doable as it's a lot cooler. The first part is encouragingly called Heartattack Hill a near enough vertical climb of about 300 steps
I get to the top without getting the advertised heart attack and we are soon at the top of a 300 million year old canyon
Coral has taken the gentle walk at the base and we meet up back at the bus and go back to the camp for camel burgers - v tasty as well.
6 hour ride back to Alice and our hotel.
We meet up with our fellow travellers for dinner at the best restaurant in Alice...... A very raucous and boozy evening.
Tomorrow we go down to Melbourne for 5 days and drive the Ocean Road.
